Fotobebopp was born through our attempt to create our own photographic syncopation, an alteration of life’s normal pulse, a creative tempo characterized by our own wily improvisations. A child’s pure, unadulterated honesty teases and charms us endlessly. We have an ever-growing curiosity of unusual people and situations that contrast so much from our own. You will also notice that the absurdity of parades will often catch our attention and, since we are from Philadelphia, look forward every year to the weird and wonderful New Year’s Day Mummers’ Parade. Junkyards, alleyways, outlandish situations, out of place and out of sorts-this is what we love.
